Apple recently announced the latest addition to its long-running iPad Air line of tablets. The company stated that it will be the most powerful iPad Air ever, it has a large screen, improved camera, and touch ID, A14 processor, and its audio is completely upgraded.
The release date and its availability
Unlike other Apple products like the watch SE, it is not available for preorder right away. The company said the product will be available starting next month since it made this brief on 15 September.
It will however not be available worldwide first, it will be in 30 countries and regions including the US. The products will be officially launched in October. The new Apple watch SE was made available for pre-order on the day of the announcement.

- 10.9 in screen
This is a plus for this tablet, it has a larger screen which is up to 10.9in compared to the 2019 model that has 10.5in. This was made possible by the removal of the home button, thus you don’t have to put up with a less portable device to get that extra screen space.
- A14 processor
The large screen should not bar you from having to check on the processor. The processor is an Apple proprietary chip branded as the A14 Bionic.
The surprising part is that the iPad is getting this chip generation before any other Apple devices. The chip allows it to have a 40% speed compares to the A12.
- Cameras
The rear cameras of the tablet have been boosted from 8Mp to 12Mp and from f/2.4 to f/1.8.video recordings go up from 1080 p at 30fps to 4K at up to 60fps.
There are a lot of improvements that have been made of the camera to ensure you get better quality pictures.
- The new Apple watch SE
The watch comes with features almost similar to those if Watch series 3. It has fall detection, real-time evaluation tracking, international emergency calling, and the Noise app.
It does not offer the ECG app or the blood oxygen monitoring app.
Prices of the devices
Apple products usually cost more in dollars than in pounds. Let’s take an example in both countries: the iPad Air 2020 (64GB, Wi-Fi) goes for 579 pounds and 599 dollars.
This price is higher compared to the 2019 Air model, which started at $499.
The watch however serves a low cost of Apple watch buyers, costing $ 279.for those who want cellular the price is $379.

It is important to note that the iPad Air 4 has a ten hours battery life. It is also interesting that in the history of Apple products, none of the products have had fingerprint sensors anywhere else rather than the Home button, which is not available for the iPad Air 3.
